Electronic Poker is a favored game that is able to be enjoyed in casinos across the world, or in your house on your computer, through a net connection. The game rules are very straightforward and involve the player trying to get the highest combination of cards possible in order to win cash. In this respect it’s very similar as a regular game of poker, minus the line of contact with other players. Of course, techniques used in a physical game of poker, like tricking, will be useless here.
The game of Video Poker begins when the player inserts credits (either tokens, credit slips or cash) into the machine and pushes the deal button. A hand of five cards will be electronically ‘dealt’ on the video screen.

The round is now completed, with the Video Poker machine scanning the hand to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands printed on the pay out schedule.
Generally, the lowest succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It goes without saying that the pay out schedule can range from machine to machine, so that experienced players are able to select the most beneficial machine each instance.
As soon as the first round has completed, the player can either decide to stay on in an attempt to maximize their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Additionally, some styles of the game allow the gambler an opportunity to increase their profits, in which case a further game is played. There are also differences among individual games, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other differing elements to enhance playability.
